Information:
A planning application is made where permission is sought from the local authority to develop land and includes changes of use and extensions to property.
There are various types of planning application:
- Outline - an application to establish the principle of development. For buildings only.
- Full Application - all the details are presented on the application leaving nothing to be decided later.

Approval of Reserved Matters - the details are submitted following the grant of outline planning permission.
- Listed Building Consent - application to alter, extend or demolish a listed building.
- Conservation Area Consent - application to demolish the whole of an unlisted building
within a Conservation Area.
- Certificates of proposed lawful use or development.
- Certificates of existing lawful use or development.
- Tree Preservation Order
(TPO).
- Application for Minor Amendments.
